Myself and my playmate had loads of fun. Well worth the time for enhanced safe play for all... Do it, you'll love it!

Well guys what can I say. She's pipped me to the post again. It takes her 3 minutes flat to write 400 words. It'll probably take me 2 hours to write half a dozen, but dito what she said apart from I did the tieing.
I had a great time. Very informative and low key. Felt very comfortable. Thanks for being patient with me, I never could tie knots at scouts but by the end of the day I definitely got the hang of it.
Great Day. Met some new faces. Will sign up for the next class for sure.
Cheers

Back in March, Peg mentioned there was a rope/bondage workshop in Derby and would I be interested. More importantly he asked my husband, would he mind if he asked me if I would like to go. Well anyone who knows me will verify no shoe lace or apron string is safe when I am on the prowl. As you can imagine I jumped at the suggestion, especially hearing there was fetish night at the attic afterwards. As the days got closer, got closer nerves set in. So, decided to concentrate on the first nervous problem…Ropetopia.
Got a text from Peg 8am!!! 8am, I was still sat eating my muesli and on my first mug of tea. It takes at least 3 teas and a pee before I switch out of zombie and into reality. Luckily he took an unplanned detour. All packed for both parts and ready to go we set off.
Arriving into the car park to the attic we joked about turning around and doing something a little more in the comfort zone than the dreaded unknown. Who knows what would be up those stairs and behind that door at the top…eeeeeeek! Panic! Run! We were very brave and conquered that scary door. Peeking around, to my personal relief there were ‘normal’ people sat drinking mugs of coffee chatting. We were met and introduced to everyone and given the tour which included the most important bit – toilets and kettle.
The class itself was extremely interesting and well organised. We were taught a number of knots, techniques, safety and ideas how to use them back out of class. WykD Dave, ChargeUK (and Clover the demo bunny) made it so much fun, relaxed and informative. They have the patients of a saint, I messed up one of the knots with the rabbit ear facing downwards not upwards thus forming a slip knot rather than locking tight was countless. However, we discovered the rabbit has a limp Willy facing downwards when correct… and suddenly it all clicked into place.
Came away with no right or wrong method, just safe and not safe with the knowledge of why you shouldn’t do bondage in specific ways. Felt so much more alive and confident to go away and enjoy it, rather than wanting to but nervous of getting it wrong. For moments here and there on Saturday people saw the outgoing bouncy plantpot/bighugs, rather than the hide in the corner, shall not say boo to a goose. Reflecting, felt so easy, no need to get nervous and anxious at all, reflecting don’t know what the problem was.
I am going to have to save up for the next course. Thankyou xx

Just got back from Ropetopia and wanted to say what a great time i had. Thanks very much to WykD_Dave and ChargeUK for organising it. As a rope bunny and not the ropey person I can only comment on my experience but never one to hold back on my opinion i thought i'd let everyone know what i thought ;)
We arrived just before 10am but everything was organised and ready. It was not as well attended as i'd have hoped given the fabulous subject that it is but i'm assuming that the wonderful sunny weather has distracted people. Rope is sexy and passionate and there is nothing like being held in strong arms and being able to smell the hemp as you're tied slowly and carefully until you're helpless. Now who'd not want to learn how to do the most basic of ties to experience this? :)
Anyways, i digress...the teaching was aimed well with all styles of learning catered for...visual, auditory and kinesthetic as Dave explained 3 basic ties in the morning using the lovely Clover as His bunny. Everyone had the opportunity to practice and Alan assisted and guided throughout.
Lunch was served and in the afternoon everyone practiced doing lots of whole body ties using the techiques learned. Everything was demonstrated and both teachers were on hand to assist and guide.
I really enjoyed it. Enjoyed watching the demos, enjoyed being tied and enjoyed the company. Thoroughly recommend.
Many thanks,
treasure x
