Rope

As I promised someone I'd make this tutorial here's one on joining rope for Shibari bondage. Hope you find this useful.

I had the distinct pleasure of providing the rope bondage for this video. Hope you enjoy as much as I did. The artist is the fabulous FKA Twigs. The song is Pendulum.

Something that turned up while noodling about with rope. It reminds me of a few other knots a couple of which I mention in the video. I'd be interested to see if this is useful to people and how they use it.

Bondage can be anything where a person is bound, it’s an all encompassing term. As for Rope Bondage, Shibari and Kinbaku… Rope bondage is any bondage involving rope at all. Damsel in distress stuff. TKB right through to Shibari. Shibari just means tying. It doesn't even mean bondage tying specifically unless used in the context of bondage. Any Japanese style tying might be Shibari.

This is the 'sleepy' tie*. Great fun with someone who's face down. I created this tie to work without having to pass the rope under the person at any point so it could be tied without problems on someone lying down. Hope you have fun with this.
