Well this blog is well overdue but I wanted to write it anyway. Earlier this year on the 28th and 29th of January we did  a two day shibari intensive at Anatomie Studio in London. Believe it or not this was the first time we’d taught a two day intensive in England in some years. It seems strange given how many we’ve done in Europe and America and even Russia how much we travel and how little we do ‘at home’ as it were. Therefore this was a bit of a treat for us being as close to on our own doorstep as we’ve gotten in recent times.

Anatomie has become a great venue for rope in the last couple of years and its success is maybe pushing it to move to a new home which I hope will retain the nice intimate feel of the current location. It’s a nice atmosphere to teach in and that really makes a for a pleasant experience for everyone.

Day one had a lot of technical information and hard practice. Lots of good work was done and the day ended with the smell of gently frying brains.

Day two contained a lot of work on putting things together along with plenty of work on the aesthetics and beauty of suffering together with work on connection in shibari. Some of my favourite subjects to teach.

Our thanks to everyone who came and worked so hard. It really is a great pleasure for us to people get so much and to see you all make so much of an improvement. We’re very happy to be a part of that.

When it was all done the brains were getting on for well done and there were some aching hard worked bodies of tops and bottoms.

We had a great time teaching our bondage at Anatomie studio and look forward to the next time.

Thanks for having us.
