Shooting with Doobsay

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:55+00:00 May 24th, 2015|Categories: Shoots|Tags: , |

We had an excellent time shooting with Doobsay today. We got did some good stressful rope! I think we're going to have some really hot images from this shoot and I'll be adding them to the portfolio section as soon as they're ready. It's always nice to shoot with someone who's as into rope as Doobsay was and to give them an experience as well as images. We get to meet a lot of great models through rope and we're glad that Doobsay contacted us. Images coming soon folks. This was a pretty good day of shooting. Well this was written some time ago but looks like I didn't publish it. To make up for that here's a couple of images and a link to that gallery.

Viennese rope festival 2015 (part the first)

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:55+00:00 May 19th, 2015|Categories: Events, Festivals, Performance|Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , |

I meant to blog about this event right after it happened and was frankly unforgivably lazy about blogging for the longest time. Now I've blogged about an event since the guilt pressure is finally high enough that I'm going to actually write this up. This was our first time in Vienna and our first time in Austria. Aside from the fact that we would get to see some of Vienna we were excited to see some friends for the first time in what seemed like ages. Wildties, Redsabbath, Saki Kamijoo and her model Mayumi Sumi. It's incredible to think  that over the last couple of years we've met up with each other variously in London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Chicago and now Vienna. It frankly is incredible to think that this kind of thing now seems so perfectly natural. As usual I'm going to have to take a moment to mention the people that organise events like this. I have to say that they very probably do a better job than I could and we were well looked after being collected from the airport and well informed about everything that was going on. I especially have to say thank you to those that spared their time to show us round some of their magnificent city. It's really spectacular. But before that the festival itself. We were really pleased to be asked to open the festivals shows and the venue was great being in a brewery in the city. The bar section where the opening was held was dark and filled with old blackened wood. It provided a great setting for the opening and a great atmosphere for the performance with the audience close around [...]

Une soirée de performance, sous le signe du semenawa, à la Place des Cordes avec Akira Naka & Gorgone.

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:55+00:00 May 17th, 2015|Categories: Events, Performance, Uncategorized|Tags: , , , , , , |

This was an unexpected little trip for us but a really nice one. We were asked to perform in Paris with Naka Akira and Gorgone. at Place des Cordes which is a very nice rope dojo. We live 15 minutes from an Airport but in usual style appropriate flights to Paris weren't available so we first had to drive to Birmingham to catch a flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The airport btw is a bit big and sprawling and it took a while to get to the appropriate customs, passport control and baggage. And then to find the exit and train. Once we'd found the right way it was only an hours journey on the train to catch a tube to get us close to the venue. Once there the first job was to get cleaned up from the unfortunate ordure of travelling. Sweaty and exhausting. It's a big of an unfortunate thing that though the flight to Paris is only about an hour, getting from your home to your destination can take over 8 hours of actual travel. Our first impresson of Place des Cordes was that it was a really good space and had a great feeling. The second was the huge grins that attend seeing Naka san again. Hugs, back slapping and greetings that make you realise how much you can miss people but also make you realise how many of your friends life far, far away. One friend there we hadn't seen in something like 4 years. It honestly didn't feel that long but when you look at it the time flies by. Not huge amounts to report on the afternoon that was left as most was spent on [...]

Good clean dirty gun fucking bondage fun against censorship!

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:55+00:00 January 20th, 2015|Categories: Information|Tags: , , , , , |

Inspired, if that's the right word by the new British government regulations on porn production which tries to stop UK producers making kinky stuff that has (In a broad sweep, there's a lot more fine grain that's too long to put in a caption, plus it's mainly about video)... Penetration by any object "associated with violence" represented here by a prop gun, Urolagnia (known as "water sports"), Physical restraint with all limbs tied, Gaggs and Humiliation. So... What ya gonna do? We decided to make an image with as much of these terrible things in it as possible. So here for freedom and hotness, gagged, hooded, tied up helpless, half suspended, pissed on and fucked with a gun! Hope you enjoy this little expression of kinky freedom. If you love this please direct your (adult) family and friends to this image so that they can enjoy it too! Please if you care about this then write to your MP protesting this legislation and that to follow. If you're in the UK you might want to write to your Members of parliament and as them what the fuck they're doing about this. Thanks for signing and thanks for reading. Please also read... Taboo magazine cover Shibari Bondage

By | 2013-12-29T13:05:26+00:00 December 29th, 2013|Categories: Random, Shoots|Tags: , , , , , , |

In an excellent round of to our working year we have a magazine cover. This is the cover of Hustler's Taboo magazine. The model for this shoot was the lovely and very sexy MaYa Homerton. A wonderful model to work with and just one of the nicest people you could wish to work with. We're looking forward to working with her again in the new year. This year has seen so much good stuff and it's a delight to end on another high point. Just amazing for us. Thank you to everyone who's given us great feedback on this. We really appreciate it.   Dave.

Robert Wilson, Lady Gaga and the Louvre

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:56+00:00 December 3rd, 2013|Categories: Events, Shoots|Tags: , , , |

From my personal blog on WykD.com I’ve been very lucky recently to get to work with some incredible people. Most recently it was a privilege and a pleasure to work with the American director and veteran of the Avant-garde Robert Wilson and with the model for one of Wilson’s video portraits, Lady Gaga who I had the pleasure of tying and suspending. The result of this I’m blown away to say is a portrait that is now hanging in every sense in the Louvre gallery in Paris as part of Robert Wilson’s Living Rooms installation. The installation will be at the Louvre till February 17, 2014 I had this opportunity only due to the kindness and good will of a very great friend. I consider myself very fortunate to have been a part of this and to have worked with so many great and talented people. On a more personal note... The Robert Wilson portrait of Lady Gaga now hanging in the Louvre. I pretty much can't believe this even now. Something I've worked on is right now hanging in the Louvre gallery in Paris. Just incredible. I could not have imagined such a thing even months ago. Earlier this year I worked on a feature film and saw its first showing at the Raindance festival. I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of extraordinary beautiful and surprising models. This one however was the Mother Monster of surprises! Here is Lady Gaga's own comment on her Little Monsters website. I got to work with some extraordinary people. My personal thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome on location especially those that were kind to the rope guy trying to get [...]

Bondage at Coco de Mer

Wow it seems so long ago now but back in 2010 we came to London to do some bondage in the shop window of Coco de Mer. Along with Jon Murakawa we were doing some bondage to promote the London festival of the Art of Japanese bondage. It was a really fun day and it was really great seeing the effect on passers by. Here are some great photo memories of the day.

Shoot with Okissakki

By | 2012-11-18T18:17:10+00:00 November 18th, 2012|Categories: Shoots|Tags: , , , |

This was one of our very first shoots and I have to say what a pleasure it was. New to shoots though we were I think we got some good stuff here. Okissakki was great to work with and Clover captured her so well. I think this was only the second shoot we had done in our new 'studio' so getting used to things a lot. Okissakki isn't around on the scene much any more from what we've seen in the past few years; wherever she is and whatever she's decided to do now I wish her the very best of luck with it.

Shooting with Jonny Blaze

By | 2016-10-28T16:39:56+00:00 October 21st, 2012|Categories: Shoots|Tags: , , , |

It seems a long time ago now but as I go back through old pictures I came across this shoot with Jonny Blaze. Normally you don't often seem to get much good stuff from group shoots but this one had a few good images mostly from Jonny and led to us working together again. I hope you enjoy this gallery.

Shibari shoot with Neil Whitely

By | 2017-02-09T00:36:06+00:00 September 23rd, 2012|Categories: Shoots|Tags: , , , , , |

Yesterday Clover and I had the fortune to shoot with Neil Whitely (In Rhyl (In Wales (In the UK))). It was a real pleasure for us. From the nice drive down (And Jersey ice-cream. (And a Coffee that was like a mug full of espresso.)) to the shoot itself, to the chip supper when we got home. The whole shoot was very relaxed and Neil was very forthcoming about his aims and the kind of images he was looking for whilst very open to ideas about how to get them. His style is very strong on emotional content and focuses very much on expression and feeling. He's very good at getting this into his images as you can see when you look at the gallery at the end of this blog. Frankly for the bulk of the images we just sort of did what we might do at home anyway. So at least this time you will see some of us being ourselves. The fat that it looks good is entirely down to Neil's expertise in capturing these images. I hope you enjoy the results of this shoot, we certainly enjoyed doing it.
