Though there are places where I would use this and places where I wouldn’t I think that this knot is a very valuable one. Great for when you want a knot that is positively uncollapsible but by the same token not one to use when you want something that can be undone under tension. All in all a good addition to your collection of knots for shibari provided that you think clearly about where it’s appropriate to use such a knot. I would not recommend for instance using this at the start of a Gote or Takatekote Shibari.
